Definition

Link in bio refers to the link in the header of a social profile. Because many platforms do not make in-post links clickable, it is the most important organic path from social media to a website and therefore a central measurement point in creator campaigns.

Also known as: Bio link, Profile link

Why it has to be measurable

Without parameters the traffic lands in the direct channel and cannot be attributed to any collaboration.

One tracking link per creator and campaign keeps the posts cleanly separated.

Common mistakes

Link hubs without their own measurement break attribution a second time.

Changing the link mid-campaign cuts off historical comparison.
