Macro influencers are creators with high follower counts and broad visibility. The exact threshold varies by platform and market; their value lies in reach potential, production quality, and brand impact.

Strengths

Macro influencers can make launches visible quickly, create strong social proof, and generate large content reach.

They are useful when a brand needs scalable visibility or wants a product to become known in a short time.

Risks

More reach does not automatically mean better efficiency. Waste, high fixed costs, and weaker community closeness can hurt CPO.

Macro influencers should be used with clear hypotheses, robust tracking, and useful benchmarks.
