Definition

Nano-influencers are creators with comparatively small reach, often around 1,000 to 10,000 followers. Their strength is a close community and credible recommendations in clearly defined niches.

Also known as: Nano influencer, Nano creator

When nano-influencers make sense

They are especially suitable for local, niche, or products that need explanation, where trust and audience fit matter more than maximum reach.

Rather than relying on one large name, brands can combine several nano-influencers into a credible campaign network.

Selection and measurement

Follower counts alone are not decisive. Community quality, content style, comments, and brand fit deserve close review.

Tracking links, codes, and clear campaign goals make smaller collaborations comparable.
