Definition

A tracking link contains parameters or redirects that assign campaign contacts to a source. In influencer marketing, it is a foundation for reporting and optimization.

Also known as: Tracking URL, Campaign Link

What it can do

Tracking links show which creator, format, or channel generated traffic.

Combined with analytics, pixels, or shop data, they can support conversion, CPO, and ROAS reporting.

Limits

Tracking links do not capture every effect. Users may buy later through Google, direct traffic, or another device.

They should be combined with codes, attribution windows, and supporting signals.
