## Ad Specialist vs. a Traditional Influencer Agency

Many agencies sell individual campaigns, booked on reach and intuition. We build a channel where each booking builds on the last and is measured against your target CAC. Here's the difference.

## The comparison at a glance

This page describes an agency model, not individual competitors. Good agencies exist in every category. What matters is the goal they work towards.

## Talent management agency vs. performance agency

A talent management agency represents creators and sells access to their reach. It's a legitimate business, measured by campaigns. A performance agency works towards your target KPIs and measures success by your new customers.

## Why one-off deals don't make a channel

- One placement can perform brilliantly. Without understanding why, you can't repeat it. One-off campaigns with changing agencies leave no shared learning, and the internal conclusion becomes: influencer marketing doesn't scale.
- A channel emerges when every booking is measured and informs the next selection. We start with as little budget as necessary, learn as much as possible and optimise towards your KPIs each month. From month four, we analyse why certain creators, platforms and verticals perform better, then find similar creators.

## The results

- **Duschbrocken: 3,877 new customers through YouTube**: New-customer costs fell from €38 to €25, generating around 20% of the brand's new customers.
- **BlueBrixx: €156,000 in revenue from one placement**: One creator, €7,800 invested, and 1,575 conversions at a €5 CAC after one month.
- **MagicHolz: over 4,000 conversions from one placement**: An outdoor format in the middle of Q4, new-customer costs below €10 and a reach of two million.

## Your questions answered

- **We already have an agency. Why switch?**: Only if campaigns aren't predictably bringing in new customers, or you can't tell whether they are. Can you see revenue and CAC per creator? Does every campaign build on the last? If not, the potential analysis shows what's possible before budget is committed.
- **Do you work with competitors in our category?**: Not at the same time. We represent one brand per category, keeping creator relationships, prices and data exclusive.
- **What budget makes working together worthwhile?**: There is no universal figure; we assess every case individually. A typical starting point is €5,000–€10,000 in monthly creator spend plus our retainer. We assess the potential before any budget goes to creators.
- **How do you measure what creators deliver?**: With IDA, our own analytics software. It combines codes, UTM links, store data and platform reports, breaking each placement down into CAC, ROI and CLV at creator level. That tells us who deserves more budget.
- **What if the potential assessment is negative?**: We stop there. You receive the findings — response rates, verticals and audiences — and an honest recommendation, even if it is not to build the channel yet. No retainer, no commitment.
